Stop at the Island Visitors Center on your way in, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, or pick up one of our local beach newspapers the Islander. Or you can stop at the Marina and arrange a deep sea fishing trip on a local Charter boat, or just drive around on our beautiful Island. Fort Pickens and the National Seashore is just moments away and the Naval Aviation Museum is across the bridge in Pensacola. On the way to the museum be sure to stop at Joe Patti's for some of the best seafood in the area (Uncooked to bring back to the condo!). Our Island also has a great selection of Restaurants for your dining pleasure. We are a part of beautiful Villas on the Gulf condominium complex towards the East end of Pensacola Beach.
This is additional information about our condo. We were vacation renters ( for 4 years ) on Pensacola Beach and fell in love with the complex before we bought our condo. It's so clean, beautifully landscaped and well maintained - very important to us for us to enjoy as well as for our guests. We also have a lot of " other " amenities that other condos do not provide. We are the cleaning staff and we are VERY particular about the condition of our condo. We use " all cotton " sheets of a very high thread count. Our towels are of a higher quality and we even provide beach towels ( hoping that folks won't take our bath towels to the pool or to the beach ). Paper towels, toilet paper and kleenex are provided. We always leave extras and not just the new ones on the roles. Dish washing detergent and even windex and other cleaning supplies are under the kitchen sink. Beach toys - pails, shovels, sieves and sand castle molds and nets to gather shells. Games and books for all ages in the event of inclement weather. In the living room we have a 25" tv , vcr and stereo and two pairs of binoculars. In the master bedroom a 19" tv and a vcr and a 5cd stereo all located in an armoire. Our kitchen is furnished with a toaster, blender and hand mixer, smooth top range and microwave and two sets of pots and pans and all the utensils we can think of. Our " Villa's on the Gulf " also has a lagoon with a gazebo in the middle of it with lots of ducks and swans and natural wildlife to enjoy. Also a small pond with a beautiful bridge to walk over and a sparkling swimming pool with plenty of table and chairs and loungers for sunbathing. Then there is the magnificent Gulf !!!!! You can watch the dolphins from our deck, living room and even eat dinner and see them as they swim by. Sting rays and long skinny fish ( skip jacks ) are seen frequently leaping out of the water. There is a " Trolley stop " where our Pensacola Beach Trolley - FREE and from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day - can take you any place on the island.
